Visual hook Snack Catch Client – Veni’s Sweet

Task

Created a motion graphic-based product video using a trending cricket highlight as a visual hook. Integrated Venis Sweet's snack packaging and product imagery (Murukku) into the narrative for high relatability and cultural relevance. The video was edited to capitalize on viewer attention during live sports hype.

Objective

To promote the snack range using a trend-based visual hook that would resonate with cricket fans and social media audiences, increasing visibility and positioning Venis Sweet as a snack companion during high-energy moments like IPL.

Challenge

The main challenge was aligning the pacing and impact of a real cricket moment with a snack product reveal—without looking forced. Timing the product motion and brand transition precisely with the catch moment was key to keeping it scroll-stopping.

Strategy

We took a high-action cricket fielding clip, froze it at the peak catch moment, and replaced the ball with a flying Murukku snack using clean motion graphics. The brand packaging was then revealed seamlessly in a bold, static final shot—placing Venis Sweet at the center of the excitement.

Design

Clean blue-toned background mimicking a screen, combined with high-res product renders and smooth snack animation. The motion was elastic and playful, matching the sports mood. Typography and color blocking kept the visual crisp and attention-grabbing.

Outcome

The reel earned strong traction during the IPL season, gaining more views and helping reinforce Venis Sweet as a brand that understands both tradition and trends. It also increased sales of the snack category during the campaign period.
