This project involves the design and development of packaging for a snack brand called “Sri Devi Vilas,” which offers a variety of traditional snacks such as potato chips, soya sticks, and various savory treats.

Task

The task was to create attractive, functional, and branded packaging for different types of snacks under the "Sri Devi Vilas" label.

Strategy

The strategy aimed to create a cohesive brand identity across multiple snack products while ensuring the packaging stands out on FMCG retail shelves. The packaging design emphasizes the traditional yet premium nature of the snacks by using bold, vibrant colors and a clear, easy-to-read layout. Additionally, the packaging highlights key features like the product’s taste and quality, catering to both health-conscious and taste-driven customers.

Design

The design utilizes a mix of bold blue and orange tones, ensuring clear differentiation between the different types of snacks. The "premium snacks" and "crispy & tasty" descriptors are prominently displayed, along with an image of the product to draw attention. The brand’s logo, featuring a smiling image of the founder, adds a personalized touch, reinforcing the tradition and authenticity of the snacks.

Outcome

The packaging was well-received, capturing the essence of the brand’s tradition while maintaining a modern aesthetic. This helped the brand strengthen its presence on retail shelves, attracting both loyal customers and new ones.
