ReTrak USB Cable

This project involved creating the packaging design for ReTrak’s Travel-Sized Lightning to USB Cable. The goal was to design a compact, functional package that highlighted the retractable feature and appeal to tech-savvy consumers seeking convenience while traveling.

Task

The task was to create a sleek, eye-catching packaging design that communicated the cable's key benefits: its retractable feature, ease of use for iPhone, iPad, and iPod devices, and portability. The packaging needed to stand out in a competitive electronics market and be easily recognizable for on-the-go consumers.

Strategy

The design leveraged clean, modern aesthetics with a futuristic touch to represent the product's functionality and appeal to tech-conscious travelers. We ensured the packaging stands out on FMCG retail shelves through clear labeling of the product's key features, such as its retractability and travel-size convenience. The design focuses on making it clear that the product is essential for everyday use and travel.

Design

The packaging features a vibrant color palette with the signature ReTrak green, emphasizing the brand's identity. A visual representation of the retractable cable was included to highlight its ease of use and portability. Icons and images of the cable in various settings (travel, work, and home) help convey versatility and practicality.
